Field Sales Representative / Estimator

Ulta Home Improvements is a high-end painting, flooring, and tile business located in Ashland, MA. Ulta Home has been recognized as one of the Top Local Companies in the Metro-west area by Best Pick Reports and is looking to hire Sales Representatives / Estimators to join our team. 

We are a family oriented and faith based organization so the ideal candidate is someone who embraces our core values of Honor, Teamwork, Growth and Excellence. To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, a strong communicator, and truly internalize that educating the customer is the most important part of the role. 

This is a Full-Time (40 hours per week) Commission Sales Role with On Target Earnings between $75,000 – $100,000 first year 

 

Description of duties: 

  • Meet with homeowners, contractors, businesses, and other principals to provide quotes & estimates to meet their project needs 
  • Notate all client concerns, repairs, and challenges the job may entail 
  • Generate professional looking proposals using established company technology and processes (Buildertrend, Monday, pricing calculators etc.) 
  • Self generate new leads and manage company provided leads in order to hit quota 
  • Build proposals and make compelling presentations to customers and prospects 
  • Effectively follow up on all estimates, inquiries, complaints and other communications 
  • Meet sales goals and close rate targets 
  • Build key relationships 
  • Must be able to travel to different locations throughout the the state of Massachusetts (typically within a 1 hour drive of our office in Ashland MA)] 
  • Must be able to participate in regular networking groups (BNI, Chamber of Commerce, etc.) to build relationships and self-generate referrals 

 

Skills and Requirements: 

  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant sales experience 
  • Experience in creating detailed proposals in construction or similar industry where you must take accurate measurements and pay close attention to detail 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Consultative sales approach where educating the client is the core focus 
  • Active listening and interpersonal skills 
  • Problem solver and self starter 
  • Ability to use basic business technology and customer relationship management software 
  • Must have the ability to to work independently 
  • Pass background check 
  • Must have a car and a valid driver’s license
